Getting started

BuiltBetter child themes run on top of Divi 5, so install and activate the Divi parent theme first.

1. Buy your licence and sign in to My Account.
2. Open Downloads and download your zip.
3. In WordPress go to Appearance › Themes › Add New › Upload Theme, choose the zip and install it.
4. Activate the child theme. Change colours, fonts and radius once in Theme Options and they apply across every layout.

Licence keys

Each order creates a licence key (it looks like BB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Find it under My Account › Licence keys, together with how many sites it is active on.

• Lifetime and 1 Year keys both activate on unlimited websites.

Downloads and updates

Downloads need a signed-in account and an active licence. Lifetime includes updates for good, and 1 Year includes 12 months of updates from the purchase date; every release is listed in the changelog. A refunded order revokes its key and its download access.

Masthead layouts

Masthead is layout content, not a plugin. Unzip the download, then in Divi go to Theme Builder, click the portability icon, choose Import and select one masthead-header-footer-name.json file. Leave the override options unticked, then open the new template, assign it and click Save Changes. The ten matching banners import from Divi’s Library the same way. The download includes full written documentation.

Licence holders get support by email through the contact form; include your order number so we can find your licence quickly. Refunds are available for 7 days from the purchase date. See the refund policy.
